ABOUT THE PROJECT

In many European countries, violent radicalisation has become an increasing issue, in particular among younger groups of populations. There is more and more media coverage of extremist or violent incidents that often come with open questions as to whether there had been signs or hints before or whether these incidents could have been prevented by immediate surroundings or society in general.

DIVE IN aims at supporting local actors working particularly with young people by enhancing their knowledge and capacity to prevent and counter radicalisation (with a specific pragmatic focus on violent radicalisation).

DIVE IN will produce innovative and specific training material, provide learners with tailored training that offer them life learning scenarios and an online cooperation hub for local actors, open also to other EU Member States, sharing lessons learnt and give room for common prevention projects building on respective knowledge achieved.
